Shine a Light on NF is an initiative started by the Children’s Tumor Foundation in New York, that brings NF awareness into the community by lighting up buildings, bridges and monuments in blue and green.
In 2017, 159 landmarks across North America shined a light and, with the help of our friends at the Children’s Tumor Foundation and the Neuro Foundation, around the world!
Help us Shine a Light on NF by asking the landmarks in your community to light up in May. Remember, the entire month of May is NF Awareness Month, so if you can't get May 17 (World NF Awareness Day), any day in May will work. Every day is a good day to shine a light on NF!
The following places have signed on to be part of this year’s event in BC. Help us grow this list!
Canada Place - May 17th.
Vancouver City Hall - May 17th.
BC Place - May 18th.

When is NF World Awareness Day?
The Tumour Foundation along with our incredible community of parents and carers, followers and members, are undertaking the task of lighting up as many iconic buildings, structures and landmarks as possible, in blue and green, on May 17th 2018 to show support for those affected by NF and to raise awareness of the condition. As May is NF Awareness Month many buildings will be lit up for the entire thirty-one days.
