You are NOT alone!

The neurofibromatoses are genetically determined disorders, which affect more than 2 million people worldwide. The BCNF can help you connect with others.

YouthCONNECT

Do you have NF, have a sister or brother with NF, or a friend/relative with NF? Are you between the ages of 10 and 17? If the answer to the above questions is "yes" then YouthCONNECT is just the place for you! This program is hosted by the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

NF Summer Camp

Each year the BCNF provides scholarships for youth ages 14-21 to attend the unique NF camp in Salt Lake City, Utah. The July camp is a great place to experience new recreational activities, make new friends, and take home memories that will last a lifetime.

2015 Camp Applications are now available and must be received before April 30!

Have questions? Please contact the BCNF office for more information.

If you never have been to a NF camp, you should try it at least one time, because when you come back of camp, you have another idea of NF, you begin to see the positive side of NF and not only the negative side. You will make friends for life at camp and you will know that you can count on them if you need to talk.

Laine Butler

BCNF educational award has a helped me immensely with my education. I’ve completed my post secondary education, and now I'm beginning my career as a sound designer. In August I’ll be in Scotland, working as head sound designer on theatrical production for one of the worlds largest theatre festivals, The Fringe Festival. With out the love, support and generosity of BCNF, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
