GET INVOLVED

We invite you to get involved, take action, and make a difference for those living with neurofibromatosis.

Here is how you can get involved and make a difference today:

Make a Donation

Support from individual donors and organizations make it possible for us to fund the NF clinic and our educational and patient care programs. Your contribution, no matter how small, can help us get one step closer to finding a cure for NF. Make a contribution today.

Fundraise

We need volunteers to help us fundraise. You can get involved with the Cocktails for a Cure Dinner & Auction, the Scotiabank Half Marathon & 5km, or create one of your own events.

Do-It-Yourself Event

With the help of our staff, you can plan an event around your interests and talents to help fund NF research and patient education programs. Hold a bake sale, host a cocktail hour, put on an auction, organize a sports tournament... the possibilities are endless!  Contact our staff to learn more.

Raise Awareness

Here are just two ways you can get involved and help increase the awareness of NF:

  1. Follow us on social media to get the latest news and information, ask questions or send comments, and connect with other members of the NF community. You will find us on Facebook and Twitter.
  1. Get involved in the Shine A Light campaign as we light up the city in May for NF Awareness Month.

Volunteer

The Tumour Foundation of BC exists today because of the dedication and commitment of volunteers. Please help us in our work with the NF community by donating your time, skills, and passion today!

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available. Connect with our staff to learn how you can get involved today.

Share Your Story

We invite you to share your experience of living with NF by telling your story. Story telling is a powerful way to inspire and connect with families newly diagnosed. Share your story and let others with NF know that they are not alone and that the diagnosis does not have to be a barrier to living a great life. Submit your story here.
